The Admissions Process
The College of Dental & Medical Auxiliaries, Canada is determined to help you attain the skills and certifications necessary to become a skilled and valuable asset to any healthcare facility. Your first step toward this goal is our admissions process, where we help you every step of the way. Our programs will set you on the fast track to actual hands-on experience, should you choose to enroll with us.
Our college admissions process has a number of requirements that applicants must fulfill and/or submit. They are:
- Either Ontario secondary school diploma or an equivalency test
- At least 18 years of age; older and much more mature students must pass an equivalency test
- Undergo a personal interview conducted by the College (see more below)
- Other admissions requirements that have been set by the Private Career College
Through an interview that we conduct with each and every applicant, we hope to gauge their aptitudes for the program they intend to choose. The interview also allows us to freely discuss with our applicants the nature of the job, and help them realise if it is the right career path for them. We are also approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. This means that our students will be rewarded with a diploma that certifies their capabilities as dental and medical professionals. Our program also covers reception duties as well as computer education, so that students can fill in desk duties as needed. We also have flexible payment plans with no interest for our programs. This allows our students to worry less about meeting tuition payments and focus more on learning more about the profession.
